I geek out about this work - I love seeing organizations thrive, individuals grow and teams achieve results. It gets me pumped.

Dana Bos, M.Ed., is the Founder and Principal of BOS Solutions, an independent woman-owned business. She has over 25 years of experience in organizational, team, and employee development in the private sector, government, and non-profit organizations across a variety of industries. An expert facilitator, trainer, and coach, she has worked with hundreds of individuals, teams, and organizations to break through barriers and optimize for results. Leveraging insight derived from years of cross-sector experience, Dana brings a fresh perspective and encourages her clients to see new possibilities.

Dana has worked both as a direct employee and as a consultant with domestic and international organizations in small, mid-size, and large enterprise settings. Much of Dana’s career was in the for-profit world, during which she worked for global enterprises like Intel Corporation. At Intel, she supported globally dispersed product groups, working closely with the groups’ VPs on leadership development, organizational design and development, and change management. Dana transitioned to the non-profit sector in 2011, working for Management Sciences for Health (MSH), an international public health NGO with a focus on strengthening the public health systems in developing nations. She served in various senior positions at MSH, a $250M organization in 40 countries at the time, reworking talent, leadership, and organizational development processes. She was also selected to facilitate the organization-wide strategic planning effort with the executive team over a six month period in 2011. She began her consulting work in 2016 and now applies her skills to both for-profit and nonprofit settings.

Dana’s guiding principles:

  • Keep it real – be practical.  Keep focused on the key priorities and critical path.

  • Meet the client where they’re at.  Be a thought partner.

  • Don’t waste people’s time.

  • Think and plan strategically, but never forget the importance of tactical follow-through.

Dana is a graduate of Colgate University and received her M.Ed. from Arizona State University.  She has also earned a certificate in Strategic Human Resource Practices from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations.  Dana is a Narrative Coach Enhanced Practitioner and certified to deliver the TypeCoach Personality Assessment and Influence Building Course.
